Join us for a unique opportunity to tour the Fundamental Learning Center, a cutting-edge educational facility dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. Then meet us at Chicken N Pickle for a happy hour social!
The Phillips Fundamental Learning Center teamed up with GLMV Architecture to create a customized space that fosters optimal learning for children. Drawing inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright’s unbuilt Juvenile Cultural Center, the building’s design resembles a flower, with two major components AKA “petals.”
The Andeel Teacher Literacy Institute will equip educators and parents with tools to teach children with dyslexia, while the Rolph Literacy Academy will serve as a teaching laboratory for students. This non-traditional facility aims to provide a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for students, parents, and educators alike. Additional amenities, such as a boardroom, office spaces, a children’s garden court, hospitality terrace, and a gym that doubles as a tornado shelter, will also be included. Once completed, the center will be able to accommodate 120 students, doubling its current capacity of 60 students.
PPE Required – Wear boots, safety glasses, and bring a hard hat if you have one.
