Furthering Excellence in Our Community

In June, SMPS Wichita partnered with the local chapters of Women in Commercial Real Estate (WICRE) and National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) to host a hard hat tour of the new Airbus building at the Wichita State University Innovation Campus. Almost 70 attendees heard from design and construction team members about this exciting new facility.

As part of our chapters’ commitment to our community, we took proceeds from tour ticket sales and collectively made a $1000 donation to the WSU College of Engineering’s Dean’s Fund for Excellence.  The fund supports students, offers faculty development opportunities and supports research activities in the college.
